Career Opportunities

The Neuroscience major provides training in academic coursework and research for a variety of career paths within this dynamic field. Neuroscience majors will be well equipped for careers in fields such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and public health policy and admission to Neuroscience graduate programs and/or research positions in Neuroscience and related fields.  A required, one-credit Professional Development in Neuroscience course helps students reflect on their academic training and envision how it will apply to potential careers. Students will learn about career paths in Neuroscience including health professions, clinical neuropsychology, research in academic and private sectors, and public policy and advocacy, and they will develop strategies and skills to position themselves to be successful.
